Undoubtedly, you’ve heard it said that breakfast is the most important meal of the day. However, not all breakfasts are created equally, especially not when you have a weight loss goal. It’s important for dieters to have something that will provide fuel and energy throughout the day but that also won’t weigh them down too much to get through their workouts or take up too much of their allotted calories.

If you’re struggling to find the right breakfast to fit into your weight loss routine, don’t worry.

Perfect Breakfast #1: Ravishing Raspberries

Raspberries are pretty much the perfect breakfast treat, especially if you’ve got a sweet tooth. They’ll satisfy that morning urge for sugar naturally, and they’ll also deliver plenty of fiber, which is proven to boost weight loss. You can have a cup of raspberries alone, a few raspberries over a nice pot of Greek yogurt, or dish some over healthy cereal; in any case, you’ll be set to tackle your day and burn fat doing it!

Perfect Breakfast #2: Highly-Edible Eggs

Eggs offer up tons of protein and only about 70 calories per egg. That means you can get away with having one or even two and some extras for breakfast. Try frying up some eggs in all-natural, zero calorie cooking spray with a few veggies (spinach works great!) thrown into the mix, eat a couple hard-boiled, or even have one and a couple of pieces of turkey bacon. You’ll feel much more full and satisfied all day long, guaranteed.

Perfect Breakfast #3: Positively Perfect Peanut Butter

Who doesn’t love a heaping spoonful of peanut butter? While many dieters often write off peanut butter as being too high in fat and calories, it, like most foods, is perfectly okay in moderation and won’t hurt your weight loss goals. You can take a tablespoon plain if you’re in a rush, or you can smear a tablespoon on low-calorie and/or whole wheat bread or toast. The sugar should give you a nice energy boost, and the protein content will keep you feeling full all day long.

Perfect Breakfast #4: Filling Fruit

When you are in a weight loss routine, fruit (when consumed in moderation of course) is pretty much always okay. Slicing up some fruit to eat fruit cup style (melon and grapes are great choices), or adding a little fruit to your cereal, yogurt, or oatmeal is a great way to keep your sweet tooth happy without adding in a lot of extra calories.

Perfect Breakfast #5: Protein Shake

Finally, while most dieters find it more satisfying to sit down and actually eat some real food, there’s nothing wrong with drinking your breakfast every once in a while, especially when you find yourself in a rush in the morning. Grab a healthy, natural protein shake without a lot of added sugar for the natural energy boost that all of these other foods provide in a lot less time. Weight loss will become easier with these simple breakfast foods.
